Island Life

September 9, 2015

After being in Bangkok for a few days and traveling to another city for a traditional Thai wedding, we spent four days on Ko Lipe, an island off the western coast of southern Thailand.
My photos from Ko Lipe don’t even begin to do this place justice. The place and the people are so beautiful. It’s a tiny island, with one main street of restaurants and shopping, but it has a true island culture: No shoes, swimsuits all the time, and dogs in every restaurant and bar, mainly because everything is truly open (no doors!).

P.S. I didn’t edit these sunset photos because I wanted to share the true colors of the island. Gorgeous, aren’t they?

Beautiful photos. I love the boats right along the quiet beach. Impressive.
