Interiors: Sitting Room (+ a giveaway!)

December 17, 2014

There’s one room in my house that I absolutely adore, mainly because it looks like it hopped out of one of my home interior Pinterest boards.

We were using it as an office, and (as you can see below) storage for whenever we got packages, because we have no mudroom or useful large entryway. We also realized that we needed the extra space for entertaining, so we decided to turn T’s office into a sitting room.
Here’s what the room looked like before (I know, I know… I’m cringing, too):
I absolutely love sitting in here now. It gets just the right amount of light and it’s just so comfortable. I hunted for this couch and finally found the perfect tufted, gray cloth love seat that didn’t cost a fortune.
zebra chairs / ottoman (similar) / tray (old, but love this one too) / rug (similar) / couch / blue lamp / white end table (no longer available but this is a very similar version)

Christmas photos to come! If you could redo a room in your house, which room would you choose?

To help you, I’ve teamed up with a bunch of fab bloggers to bring you a $200 West Elm gift card giveaway! Not sure what you would use it for? What about this tray or some gorgeous new pillows?
