I’ve bounced from workout to workout for the past few years. I get bored by the same routine, so anything that is based on the same movements day after day isn’t really for me. I really like Pilates but my high school cheerleading injury makes it difficult sometimes, and I won’t go out running by myself now that it’s dark at 4pm. I’ve read about spinning for a couple of years, and it wasn’t until one of my close friends mentioned that she had been that I thought I should try it.
The first class I went to was crazy. It was fast-paced and I pretty much had no idea what I was doing, but it was one of those times when I was just like “YES. This is awesome.” For someone who typically stops working out as soon as I start sweating, leaving drenched and feeling great is very new to me.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the women have gorgeous workout gear, and I’m itching for new workout duds to go along with my new favorite workout. Conveniently, Christmas is just around the corner, and I have a feeling there’s going to be a special workout section on my wish list this year.
