Weekend Update 5.26.17

May 26, 2017

Cape Cod sailboat charter

Memorial Day weekend is here! Photo from this post on last summer’s Cape Cod sailboat charter

Sales and shopping: There are so many good sales this weekend! I have my eye on some patio furniture 🙂 This seersucker off-the-shoulder dress is so cute! Plus, Nordstrom has their half-yearly sale with up to 40% off including designer goods like this bag. I have these items in my shopping cart:

Reading: I recently finished The Kitchen House, which was so good that I downloaded (I’m a Kindle girl!) the sequel, Glory Over Everything.

This weekend: is going to be pretty low key for us! There’s a ton going on in the area, but truthfully we have a lot of yard work that needs to be done (#homeowners) and we’re trying to make some house decisions. We’ve been talking about adding a patio and true outdoor dining space, which we’ve never had! I’m so excited for that. I’m also in what I think must be the start of nesting, because I want to get rid of pretty much everything (is that normal??).

Great Advice: …on self tanners from Katey – she breaks it down on why some tanners come off orange and others don’t. (Psst my favorite self tanner is this one! And you should absolutely get the applicator glove, because it makes life so much easier.)

Have a great weekend!
