Weekend Reading

April 10, 2015

Recommended Reading

I’m nearing the end of Upstairs at the White House: My Life with the First Ladies and I highly recommend it. You get a glimpse into the life of those who worked at the White House, with little details about the First Ladies. I giggled at the image of Mrs. Eisenhower giving away all of the silver spoons as mementos! It’s a light read, so you could definitely bring this one on vacation. I tend to read books in groups, so this one is next on my list.

5 reasons why alone time is awesome

Things that should never go in the dishwasher

How to consign your clothes (which you should do after Spring-cleaning your closet!)

Target furniture that looks much more expensive (I used some pieces in my house, which you can see here and here)

How often should you really wash certain clothing items?

I’m excited to share that I’m now a contributor for the TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals blog! You can see my first post here.
