Nantucket in the Fall: the Ultimate Travel Guide

Nantucket in the Fall: the Ultimate Travel Guide

I love Cape Cod and the islands in the summer months, but there's something even more special about them in the fall, when all of the tourists have gone home. We decided to visit Nantucket in the fall recently. It was the best decision! Getting to Nantucket Year round you can take the ferry, either with a vehicle (which takes about 2 hours from the Cape to Nantucket) or without a vehicle and for a bit more per ticket (takes about an hour). Cape Air (which was bought by jetBlue a few years …

Farm Hopping

Farm Hopping

This weekend was a little rough, I won't lie. Eleanor is getting 4 teeth at once, so she has been fussy and upset. She isn't sleeping as well as she normally does, and she's definitely coming down with a cold, too.  (So much UGH.) I'm feeling slightly under the weather as well, so we're just a hot mess over here. Apple Picking, Pumpkins + the Best Skinny Jeans Everyone Asks About

We had a gorgeous weekend, so we took Eleanor apple picking for the first time! How basic can I get... I HAVE to go apple picking every year, and normally I force my family to go for my birthday. But we saw how nice the weather was going to be and just had to go. We had so much fun! I loved showing Eleanor the farm animals. We talk a lot about farm animals around here (she has a puzzle). Funny story: We were standing in front of the sheep and I was doing the mom voice and asking Eleanor, …

Cape Cod Recap – 8 Days in Chatham

A couple of weeks ago we spent 8 incredible days on the Cape that went by wayyyy too fast. We rented a house in Chatham (on the elbow of Cape Cod) with my sister and her husband, as well as my mom. My other sister rented a house in the same town with her in-laws. And we ALL brought our dogs. It was such a fun week! Have you been to Chatham (Cape Cod)? Wanted to go for July 4th? Cape Cod for July 4th The Fourth of July is a prime week on Cape Cod, and it is B-U-S-Y. Where in the off-season …
