Stocking Stuffers for 3-4 Year Olds

Stocking Stuffers for 3-4 Year Olds

Last year I thought my 2 year old "got it" about Christmas, but this year I really think my 3 year old understands what's going on. She is able to help me wrap presents, put ornaments on the tree, and bake Christmas cookies! She even helped me hang up our stockings on the mantel. Unfortunately we're not yet past the "but I want that" stage when we're picking out gifts for others, but we'll get there ;) I get really excited about putting out Santa gifts, but I get equally as excited about …

25 Gifts for a 3 Year Old Girl

Some of these gifts are geared toward a 3 year old girl, but many of them are gender neutral. I went looking for the best gifts for a 3 year old with my own daughter in mind. You already know that we love to do crafts and that I am not a fan of electronic toys. I'm really trying to concentrate this Christmas on giving my kids gifts that can last for years and years. Jack-o-Lantern Stuffed Peppers

While food photography isn’t my forte, I just had to share what I made for dinner recently! I was planning to make stuffed peppers one night and decided to have a little fun with them. I chose orange peppers instead of the red I normally go with, and I “carved” a little face into each. They were a huge hit with my toddler! (Though she deemed hers “too cute to eat”...) What I put in them: hamburger (1 lb)1 zucchini, sliced1 summer squash, sliced Pasta sauce (1 cup)2 cups jasmine …

What I’m Wearing for Christmas

What I’m Wearing for Christmas

It's Christmas week! Each year I find myself wanting to dress up, but I always lean toward comfy clothes. When I saw this black sweater dress, it looked like the best dressed up/dressed down option for the holidays, for parties, and even for work days. (It's also currently on sale for less than $25, so there's that. And it comes in three different colors: gray, black, and red.) I bought this coat a few years ago on a whim, and it is one of my favorites to pull out of the closet when I go …
