Is anyone else overwhelmed when they walk into Sephora? I never know where to start, so I either do one of two things: Find someone and ask a million questions, or wander into a section and just buy what I think will work. Lately, I’ve stumbled on some really great products that I wanted to share.

P.S. I have really sensitive skin, and I can recommend all of these products for any other sensitive skin types!

Products: root lifting hairspray / contour palette / repair cream (c/o) / brightener / makeup remover towelettes (c/o) / blush / lip crayon

For color

I took a contouring class and learned a ton, but I don’t have the patience time to do a half hour of contouring every morning. This Nars palette (mine is “Olympia”) has a contour color and a highlighter, and it’s easy enough for me to do a quick 1-2 for every day. I found this brightener in the contouring class, too, and it is incredible. A swipe under each eye makes me look so much more awake! This Becca blush (in “Flowerchild”) is actually a lot pinker than it looks in this photo, but it’s the right shade of pink for my fair skin.

For other

If you have fine hair, root lifting hairspray is a necessity. My hair is long and naturally curly, so I need all the root-lifting help I can get. Now that we’re out of the harsh winter, I’m not using this repair cream as much, but definitely file it away for next winter! And for those of us who are lazy about taking off makeup at night like I am, Neutrogena Naturals makes a makeup remover towelette that makes it too easy (you basically have no excuse).
