Graduation Party Planning

June 12, 2015

Last month I graduated with my MBA, and in a couple of weeks I’m hosting a party to say “thank you” to my family and friends for putting up with me encouraging me over the past 4.5 years. Yeah, it took that long: Part-time school while working full time was invigorating some weeks and completely exhausting other weeks. I’d go from taking one class per semester to three, and at the same time go from “I can totally do this” to “what was I thinking” (totally normal- sounds like my classmates did the same thing!).

How perfect is it that there’s a Class of 2015 bottle? I was excited when I found this one at Walmart while shopping for graduation party essentials. (One of the best party items I purchased last Summer was this galvanized tub – we’ve used it so many times already!)

I thought it would be super cute to have a personalized bottle of Coke from their “Share A Coke With…” campaign for each person as a sort of party favor, but I love that the 24 pack of Coke Zero cans I bought has fun words like “sidekick” and “better half,” so I went with those for the party instead.

Sidenote: I rarely see my name on anything personalized (^Danielle is my middle name!), but one of my best friends sent me a text one day when she grabbed a bottle of Coke Zero at the store and it had my name on it! (It’s the little things, people.)

I’m so excited to host this party, maybe because there’s BBQ food involved and maybe because it’s going to be a big group of some of my favorite people. Either way, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite things!

I found my personalized bottles at Walmart, and here is a list of Walmart stores where you can find yours to share with someone this Summer. They have the widest selection of names, and bins at the front of the store where you can easily spot the names you’re looking for. See if your name is available online here and find out here how others are sharing their summer with Coca Cola.

Have you found your name yet?

Congratulations! As a fellow MBA grad who worked full time while attending school, I can definitely relate to those "I can totally do this" to "what was I thinking" moments! It sounds like you have a fun way to say thank you with the personalized Coke bottles and cans! #client

These personalized Coke bottles and cans are looking splendid. It is a great idea that you can use in your graduation party. It will be quite interesting. Hey I suggest you to reserve party places Miami for this graduation event!
