Favorite Home Renovation Shows

November 10, 2014

I spent a good chunk of my Sunday watching home renovation shows, which obviously didn’t help with my desire to demo a house. Here are my top 3 renovation shows you have to watch (if you like that sort of thing).

Fixer Upper
The couple who do all of the work on this show are adorable, and Joanna’s sense of interior style is beyond words. I need her to move her business up to the northeast to help me, because there’s no way I would have the vision she has to move walls and windows to entirely transform a space.

Rehab Addict
Nicole Curtis is tiny but does major work on houses that sometimes should just be torn down. It’s incredible what she can take and turn into a work of art.

Flipping Boston

Especially if you’re from the Boston area, you’ll appreciate this show. The duo get shit done and make me laugh while they’re doing it, so that’s a plus. I love the combo of real estate agent and construction backgrounds in the two stars of the show, because you hear from both sides.

(No, this post was not sponsored by any home renovation show or channel. I just really love watching houses get demolished inside and then become amazingly gorgeous spaces!)
