This time of year I am craving seasonal flavors. I have always wanted to try to make a cranberry bread at home, so I was really excited when this came out as delicious as it sounds. This bread makes a great breakfast loaf and would be fantastic at a Thanksgiving brunch!
It’s really easy to make, too!
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1 cup orange juice
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups cranberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in an egg, vegetable oil, grated orange peel, and orange juice, and mix well. Stir in cranberries. Bake for 50 minutes or until top of loaf is golden brown.
