Nantucket in the Fall: the Ultimate Travel Guide

Nantucket in the Fall: the Ultimate Travel Guide

I love Cape Cod and the islands in the summer months, but there's something even more special about them in the fall, when all of the tourists have gone home. We decided to visit Nantucket in the fall recently. It was the best decision! Getting to Nantucket Year round you can take the ferry, either with a vehicle (which takes about 2 hours from the Cape to Nantucket) or without a vehicle and for a bit more per ticket (takes about an hour). Cape Air (which was bought by jetBlue a few years …

Farm Hopping

Farm Hopping

This weekend was a little rough, I won't lie. Eleanor is getting 4 teeth at once, so she has been fussy and upset. She isn't sleeping as well as she normally does, and she's definitely coming down with a cold, too.  (So much UGH.) I'm feeling slightly under the weather as well, so we're just a hot mess over here. BUT Sunday we went to the adorable little town where my mom lives in Central MA, and we drove to the next town over to do a little farm hopping. Living in a much busier area now, I …

The hotel underwent a huge renovation in 2013, but you'd think it was just done last week because everything is so on-trend (and Instagrammable, too!). Shirt I've been living in If you've never been to Nantucket before, you need to know that there are a few things you will see almost everywhere. Here are what I consider the most …

Cape Cod Recap – 8 Days in Chatham

A couple of weeks ago we spent 8 incredible days on the Cape that went by wayyyy too fast. We rented a house in Chatham (on the elbow of Cape Cod) with my sister and her husband, as well as my mom. My other sister rented a house in the same town with her in-laws. And we ALL brought our dogs. It was such a fun week! Have you been to Chatham (Cape Cod)? Wanted to go for July 4th? Cape Cod for July 4th The Fourth of July is a prime week on Cape Cod, and it is B-U-S-Y. Where in the off-season …

A Complete Cape Cod Packing List

A Complete Cape Cod Packing List

One of my favorite places to go in the summertime is Cape Cod, so today I'm sharing what I typically pack for Cape Cod. When I was younger we would head to the Cape for 2 weeks or more each summer, but these days it's a weekend here and there or a week if we're lucky. We're really lucky to be just a couple hours' drive from my favorite summer spot! …
