Exciting news from RenovationStation: We moved in! So... it's echoey (we have no curtains and no rugs on the first floor) and we're still getting used to it, but we're so glad to be here! It was a long summer going back and forth between two houses (and, on occasion, a hotel here and there). scenes from the weekend Why were you between two houses? Home Renovation Q&A
Last week I responded to a bunch of home renovation questions on Instagram, but I wanted to share them here so they can "live" longer than just the 24 hour Stories! I'm happy to do another Home Renovation Q&A as I keep sharing more and more details! Every time I drive up our street I get excited to go home, even if it's just for an hour. We have now been out of our house since June 4, so a total of 2 months and 2 weeks. While the renovation feels like it …
Home Renovation Update
Our renovation is moving at lightning speed now! For a while it felt like things were crawling along... It was about a month from breaking ground to finishing up the foundation, but once the new foundation was inspected and got the okay from the city, things were really off and moving! Once they started to frame the new addition, things really got going. While we still have a looong way to go until we're done, now is when a lot of our decision-making has to happen. This will be a water …
