One thing about New England – it’s important to always have your sunnies and another layer on hand!
I grew up about an hour outside of Boston, so my childhood memories of the city are mostly fond ones. Trips to the aquarium (remember, I wanted to be a dolphin trainer and/or penguin feeder) or the ballet were fun excursions from our slightly suburban town.
Now, as an adult, I see the city in a different light. It’s less about the novel things, like an authentic cannoli, and more about the people who make up Boston. It’s such an interesting place to be, from the Italian you’ll hear in the North End to the Irish pubs of Southie. (And okay, I still get excited about cannoli.)
tunic / black pants (past season, similar) / leopard heels (they come in a bunch of other colors, too) / work tote (similar)
Days with any sort of humidity call for a cute hair clip, like this one from J.Crew (similar)
My most comfortable pair of heels (seriously)
