If you didn’t shop Black Friday, today’s the day to get all of your Christmas gifts! Cyber Monday is here, and it’s good. I’ve rounded up the best Cyber Monday sales for 2016, plus what I’m shopping from each site.
The really good thing about Black Friday (and Cyber Monday, for that matter) is that retailers are starting to do their sales earlier and earlier. This year it feels like everyone put up their Christmas tree the first week of November, and that’s partially because there are so many sales happening right now, too. You definitely don’t need to get up early on Black Friday this year, because I already have a roundup of the best Black Friday sales for 2016 here!
SO many sales are already live.
Ready to shop? Let’s go!
I half-forgot that Columbus Day weekend is coming up, but that explains why all the sales!
I noticed one thing that happens without fail at the change of the seasons: I go on a shopping binge. Like, put everything in my cart and check out, adding a few impulse purchases along the way. I’m talking real cart and online shopping cart. Send help.
In case you are not like me going crazy with buying things right now (or if you are!), here are the best deals this weekend:
Here are some items from this weekend’s sales that you should definitely check out! (The prices shown on hover are not necessarily the price you’ll get on the site – some discounts show in cart.)
Don’t forget to check out the clearance sections for items like swimwear, tanks, and shorts! This is the time of year I stock up on beach towels for the pool, basic tanks I know I’ll wear next year, and swimwear I lusted over all summer but couldn’t justify spending on.
We hosted a small BBQ Wednesday night this week, which was kind of random, totally last-minute, and a lot of fun. Normally we host people on the weekends because of the backyard pool, but because our new fence was finished* early in the week, we thought why not… I think we’ll still stick to mostly weekend parties, but I loved the randomness of having one mid-week!
*kind of finished. There are a couple of things they need to fix, and I hate the way they hung one of the gates so that needs to be fixed before I can say the project is actually done! No offense, men, but sometimes you need to ask a lady before you think a project is done.
With all of the terrible stuff in the news lately, I shared a heartwarming story on my Facebook page earlier this week. I wish people would stop trying to fight violence with violence. Go out and do something positive today – pay for someone else’s coffee (bonus points if it’s a stranger), call a friend (or grandma) just to say hello, send someone a handwritten letter. Just do your part to try to make this world a better place, k?
Now, onto more lighthearted topics like toast.
