I didn’t take any photos while making this recipe, so you will have to just take my word for it that it is incredibly easy (and so worth it!). With just a few ingredients, you have a healthy, homemade soup that tastes so good for the fall.

Ingredients:
1 butternut squash
1 acorn squash
3 apples (I like Cortland apples, but any flavorful apple will work)
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 cups water
salt and pepper to taste
Peel and cut your squash into chunks, removing seeds. Peel and core apples, slicing into wedges. Boil the water in a soup pot with squash and apples for approximately 30 minutes, or until all pieces are soft. Using a food processor or handheld mixer (I like using my hand blender for this), puree all pieces until mixture is smooth. Add in ground cumin, heavy cream, and salt and pepper, and mix well. Serve!
